Tommy and Kenny exists to help children learn to read whilst learning important Christian concepts.

Who makes them

The books are authored by screenwriter/director Mark Brown who is most widely recognized for penning one of the largest grossing urban films of all time, Barbershop. He wanted to create a non-denominational Christian children's book for all to enjoy with a focus on adult Christian concepts. Born in Birmingham, England and raised in Washington, D.C., Mark has also written and directed a series of children's educational videos -- See and Learn Baby and Milo and Friends. He is also a founding member of the National Association for Orphans

They are illustrated by one of the industry's finest, Pete Mekis, who has illustrated projects such as Dora the Explorer, Nickelodeon's The Angry Beavers, King of the Hill, and Charlotte's Web 2. He currently lives in Burbank with his wife and two cats.
